Get to know Tomas

I’m Tomas — UX Designer and fresh full-time UX Design Bootcamp graduate. I got on this journey seeking a career that combines creativity, problem-solving and my genuine curiosity to learn new things.

I've committed to a certified User Experience program by CareerFoundry where I've learned industry-standard tools like Figma with job skills such as user research, prototyping or user testing. I've chosen an additional specialization course - Front End Development for Designers, because I enjoy translating concepts into living, breathing prototypes and implementing versatile front-end solutions.

Before CareerFoundy— I was the Event Coordinator in Medtronic. I was responsible for the smooth process of online congresses.

I find quite a lot of similarities and cross job skills from my 3 years of experience as a Freelance Tour Guide, specialized in Asia and North America. I needed to empathize with clients to fulfill their needs, sometimes with budget and time limitations and always meet my stakeholders requirements. Or in other words, I was paid for traveling and it was just awesome.
